Empowering Young Leaders through English proficiency: Ongoing success of the English language training

Since Jan 2024, the English Block, in partnership with the Callan Method Organisation, has equipped young leaders with vital language skills, enhancing their communication and expanding personal and professional opportunities.

Since January 2024, the English Block has been empowering young people through the Young Leaders Programme, in partnership with the Callan Method Organisation. This initiative continues to provide essential language skills that enhance communication and open personal and professional opportunities for our young leaders.

The Callan Method: A proven approach

Used in hundreds of language schools in over 40 countries, the Callan Method has helped more than a million people speak English confidently and fluently. Over the past months, the English Block has supported more than 50 young leaders across 7 countries in improving their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Speaking about their experience, our Young Leaders said:

  • “We’ve seen a significant growth in our confidence within just 3-4 months of Callan lessons. Now, we can lead conversations with visitors without hesitation.” – Asman, Delice, and Innocent, Burundi.
  • “The lessons are dynamic, engaging, and highly interactive. This approach has made my learning experience both enjoyable and effective.” –Deyna, Bolivia.

Commitment to Excellence

By collaborating with the Callan Method Organisation, we guarantee that our young leaders benefit from exceptional language training, thereby maximising their learning experience. Regular attendance has resulted in significant progress and noticeable improvements in English proficiency. SCU is enthusiastic about continuing this journey, eager to see our young leaders flourish, communicate with confidence, and seize new opportunities.
