In 2013, Street Child World Cup are rolling out a series of events on the Road to Rio. There is something for everyone whether as an individual or through your business, community or school.
Below are some events that we have fixed in the diary but you can hold your own bespoke event and we will support you all the way.
11 January: Café Below are hosting Street Child World Cup in the historic surroundings of the crypt at St. Mary-le-Bow Church. Food and wine will be provided by Leiths trained chefs. This is the perfect opportunity to hear the very latest from the Road to Rio. Tickets are £40, click here to order yours now.
15 March: Big City Sleep, Spitalfields Market, London. Can you handle one night? The Big City Sleep is back. In association with Action for Brazil’s Children Trust. This is your opportunity to join us to campaign and raise awareness for street children around the world.
25 April: Carnival party at Guanabara, Covent Garden. This spectacular evening will include Brazilian themed music, dancing, and food. So if you want to get a feel for the Road to Rio then come along to London’s largest Brazilian venue and join the party.
10 July: A classical music concert at St James’s, Piccadilly, London. This all in one concert will feature Young Musician of the Year winners Lara Ömeroğlu (pianist), Laura van der Heijden (cellist), and 2012 young musician of the year finalist Martin Bartlett (pianist).
Autumn: The Cambridge to London bike ride. Are you a budding Bradley Wiggins or a faltering beginner? Either way you can take on the challenge of riding from St John’s College in Cambridge to London in an overnight bike ride.
So join us and ride through the night for children who are sleeping on the streets.
