“On September 16th, physician the SAFIRE inter-regional football tournament started, troche with 6 teams of various age-groups from 4 regions kick-starting the tournament. From September 16 to November 25, 210 children (aged between 8 and 21) will compete for the glory of being the champions of this inaugural football tournament, for which Deutsche Bank (Mauritius) has made a commitment. Eight teams will take part in this unique event, which aims at eradicating idleness, inculcating human values, developing a sense of ownership and enhancing team spirit.

The matches will be played every Sunday morning, the match will be done on a pool basis (A& B) and with teams of 15 players. This football tournament will help us to identify the future champions that will be part of the Mauritius team during the street child world cup in Rio in 2014.”
