Eastern Seasons Gala Dinner to support Street Child United

We’re pleased to announce a partnership with Eastern Seasons, an annual week (28 November – 5 December) of cultural, sport and business events, celebrating relationships between people and striving to reinforce the links between countries of Eastern and Western Europe. Eastern Seasons aims to become a strong multinational platform for generating creative ideas and developing new projects.

Street Child United will benefit from the Eastern Seasons Gala Dinner taking place on Monday 5th December. The dinner will be held in the grand interiors of central London’s One Marylebone – formally the Holy Trinity Church. Click here to find out more.

Guests will enjoy an evening of fine dining, entertainment from special acts including popstar Sophie Ellis Bextor and international ballet star Sergei Polunin and a charity auction to raise funds for the next Street Child World Cup.

Kicking-off ahead of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018, the Street Child World Cup is a World Cup like no other, providing a platform for teams of street-connected children and orphans from around the globe to play as athletes and unite as ambassadors, tackling youth homeless worldwide.

Street Child United, CEO, John Wroe said, “Street Child United uses the power of sport to unite people from different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds and work together to transform the lives of some of the most marginalised children in the world.

We are excited at the opportunities our partnership with Eastern Seasons presents, and for their support in helping to raise funds for the 2018 Street Child World Cup, which will provide a platform for formerly homeless young people to shine as athletes, artists and advocates for every child, no matter their background, all over the world.”

Anna Abramova, spokesperson for Eastern Seasons’ Organising Committee said, “Eastern Seasons are proud to support the brilliant work of Street Child United. Like them, we want to bring people together for a common cause, and help to make the world a better, more inclusive place. In 2018 all eyes will be on Russia for the World Cup. We believe that the Street Child World Cup will give children powerful motivation to develop leadership qualities and realise their potential in the future.”
