John Wroe, CEO of Street Child World Cup writes a letter to all our friends and supporters telling the incredible story of former street child Owais. Owais represented Pakistan at the 2014 Street Child World Cup and helped change the lives of 1.5 million children still living on the streets. He said “For the other street children I will work for them and do the same things that Street Child World Cup has done for me and children like me.” This is because of you – it happened because you support the Street Child World Cup.
This Christmas, please donate to help more young people like Owais show the world what they are capable of when they receive the protection, support and opportunities that all children deserve.
You can watch Owais’ incredible story below.
“It was possible to gather many nationalities, story cultures, viagra 60mg and form a nation: a nation of free man, with equal rights and opportunities, mutual respect, rightful duties. It was 10 days when the world, in that corner of Rio, was fair to socially excluded children; they could feel the beauty of being somebody in this world.”
“No child should have to live on the streets. I commend the Street Child World Cup for providing a platform for the rights of street children to be heard.”
“I know from personal experience just what power football can have to inspire and change young people’s lives whatever their background or nationality. This is what the Street Child World Cup is all about and I give it my full support.”
